Abstract

Manajemen keuangan gereja yang efisien dan transparan menjadi tantangan utama di Klasis GKI Keerom di Papua karena keterbatasan pengetahuan akuntansi dan kemampuan menggunakan teknologi digital oleh bendahara jemaatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemahaman bendahara tentang manajemen keuangan gereja serta hambatan dalam menggunakan aplikasi digital dan strateginya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akuntabilitas keuangannya. Dengan metode kualitatifnya, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner kepada 11 jemaat di Klasis GKI Keerom. Analisis dilakukan dengan model Miles and Huberman. Hasil studinya menunjukkan bahwa kekurangan pelatihan dalam bidang akuntansi dan kendala infrastruktur teknologi merupakan halangan utama yang dihadapi. Meskipun demikian aplikasi digital berbasis web bisa meningkatkan ketepatan pencatatan dan transparansi keuangannya. Solusi yang disarankan meliputi strategI pelatihan berkesinambungan serta bantuan teknikal dan penyedian infrastruktur yang memadai. Temuan ini penting untuk mendukung perubahan digital dalam manajemen dana gereja guna memastikan tanggung jawab serta meningkatkan kepercayaan para jemaat terhadap pengelolaan uang tersebut.
