Abstract

Anak berkebutuhan memiliki kondisi yang lebih kompleks dibandingkan dengan anak-anak pada umumnya, sehingga diperlukan penanganan tambahan dan khusus sesuai dengan kondisi anak. Hal tersebut dapat memicu berbagai dinamika dan stres khususnya pada orang tua. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pelatihan manajemen stres kepada orang tua yang memiliki anak berkebutuhan khusus. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan diskusi interaktif dan pelatihan teknik-teknik manajemen stres. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat melakukan teknik-teknik manajemen stres secara mandiri. Teknik-teknik manajemen stres yang dilatihkan yaitu teknik pernapasan, butterfly hug, healing touch dan mindfulness
